Inbound marketing workshop and blogging
As a HubSpot ecommerce partner, we work with a number of companies that want to implement content marketing to support their webstores.  Part of the process of enabling them to start is an inbound marketing workshop, which helps map out the content marketing strategy and the practical assistance to start blogging.
Content marketing workshop contents
You can expect the following content in an inbound marketing workshop:
  • HubSpot set up: there is a considerable amount of work to be done before HubSpot can be used - setting up lists, forms, landing pages and Calls to Action (CTAs).  It is necessary to both insert the correct artwork to complement the current website and then build out a number of the various elements.  This makes sure you have all the right elements and have sufficient that you have some options.
  • Training: the workshops cover a number of important topics - blogging, email, landing pages, CTAs, campaigns, keywords, reporting and a number of others.  Typically, there would be three days of onsite workshops to ensure all the topics are covered off in sufficient detail.
  • Inbound marketing plan: one of the most important elements is the plan to run inbound marketing.  This plan should be in detail for the first three months, and then well fleshed out for the remainder of the year.  For example, blog content titles should be availabel for the first three months.  Without there there is a danger that inbound marketing will not be consistent and you will not see the benefits.
  • Practical advice: a content marketing agency will be able to give the sort of practical advice that a company would only be able to find out for itself after a considerable peroid of operation.  Having this advice accelerates the time taken to get up to speed.
  • Future support: whilst HubSpot support is great, it is good to have marketing experts available continuously.  We typically operate a support contract (a sort of retainer) for ongoing marketing support across a whole year.  That will ensure a continuous stream of content and campaigns across the year, driving new enquiries.

Train as many as you need

One of the advantages of running your own HubSpot workshops is that you can train as many of your staff as you want for a single price.  Whilst other training courses operate a per person fee, a workshop can be run to as many individuals within the company as required.

This works for both consumer and B2B content marketing.
